Shannon Dearman, VA

Shannon earned a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Guelph. Despite this success, she felt the need to pursue the veterinary industry, where her true interests and passion lie. She began working as a veterinary assistant in 2022 and quickly fell in love with patient care. Currently, Shannon is in her last year of veterinary technology program through Ridgetown College and has the goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. 

At home, she is the loving mom to her two dogs Harley and Misha, and her cat Theodore which makes for a crazy household as she balances studies and work! She enjoys hiking with her dogs or reading quietly with the cat .
